Eclectic Jellyroll: World Jazz at Zen Mystery

Join Richard Brookens (woodwinds), RutiCelli (cello & vocals), and Mark Schubert (percussion) on Thursday night 3.2.17 for the “Eclectic Jellyroll”, a night of live music featuring sophisticated soundscapes, improvisation based grooves and a variety of guest musicians. The Eclectic Jellyroll can only be enjoyed at Zen Mystery in Dania so come on by and get your jelly fix! Now offering organic beer and wine, too!
Richard Brookens is a multi-instrumentalist that has been performing professionally for over 40 years. He is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music majoring in woodwinds, and arranging and composition, and has played all over the United States, in Mexico, Canada, Europe, Asia, and throughout the Caribbean. He established the Yellow Bell recording label for his Jazz/World Beat Fusion and Meditation/Relaxation musical endeavors 15 years ago, and has since produced 8 original CDs.
RutiCelli is a Miami based musician focusing on cello & vocal performance, original song writing & music production. With an extensive orchestral & chamber music experience she moved to the US in 97′ to complete her Bachelor degree in Cello Performance with Prof. Laurence Lesser at the Boston New England Conservatory, and was later a member of The New World Symphony Orchestra in Miami. In 2006 She began developing a unique genre of songwriting- a cross between Classical, New Age/ Jazz, Trip hop & Dance.
Percussionist Mark Schubert is the Timpanist at Palm Beach Symphony, Owner at studio m music publishing and Timpanist at Florida Grand Opera, currently residing in Miami.
